REGISTRATION

Registration is $99 for 1 day attendance, or $179 for both days if you register by September 30, 2012. After September 30, registration is $119 for 1 day, $199 for both days.

Meeting dates are October 24 - 25. Registration is open from 8:00 a.m. Meeting starts at 8:30 a.m.and ends at 4:30 p.m. each day. Lunch will be from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. and is included with registration.

Going to the Finals - Leading Your Team to Success

Leading people to work together to be their best takes effort, and it starts with being the example.  We'll cover how to take your team to the top by examining core principles of being an excellent leader in a fun and creative way.  Setting the example through serving others with a distinct passion and clear vision will encourage the heart.  We'll also challenge each leader to think about how to use CARE in the workplace and home to create a winning environment.  By utilizing proven leadership principles, real life stories, and multimedia, this session will rally the team to win it all!

Indiana AAHAM’s 2001 Fall Conference was a success! The meeting was held in Nashville Indiana at the beautiful Salt Creek Golf Retreat.  John Currier, CPAM, CCT started off the meeting updating everyone on National AAHAM.  Currently AAHAM has a record number of members!

The conference continued with timely topics such as Team Building; Uninsured Challenges; Sharing Best Practices; Managing Appeals & Denials; and HIPAA/HITECH.

AAHAM’s Indiana Chapter President, Chet Klene, commented that he was very pleased with the turnout and the responses.  “Every attendee I spoke with said they were very pleased with the knowledge and networking they gained from coming.  We worked very hard to provide the kind of program Patient Accounts Managers deserve and want.  We are already working on next year’s agenda.”

Indiana AAHAM President, Chet Klene,  met briefly with Indiana Senator Richard Lugar in Washington D.C. on AAHAM Legislative Day in April.

AAHAM had four issues they presented in regards to lowering healthcare costs: Uniform insurance cards, uniform patient ID numbers, EFT remittance, and uniform acknowledgement of receipt of claims.

All Indiana offices, including Senator Lugar, Senator Bayh, and Representative Carter were in agreement with AAHAM.
